Nurse

I am Benilda Villasan‑Escobar and I have been serving in healthcare for 29 years. I began my medical journey in the Philippines, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and a medical degree. I previously practiced medicine and served as a Franciscan missionary doctor, providing compassionate care to underserved communities. Since 2011, I have worked in the United States as a Registered Wound Care Nurse Specialist. I am grateful for the opportunity to care for the students and families of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School while continuing to live out my faith through service and ongoing missionary outreach in the Philippines.
